14 Songs To Help Us Through The Next 4 Years

The 2016 presidential election was an emotional rollercoaster for everyone. Whether you voted for Trump, Clinton or an independent candidate, one thing that we all can agree on is that America’s mask as a “post racial” nation was ripped off — this election showed how scarred our country still is.

Slightly over 50 years after Jim Crow was abolished, America is still healing.  And while we try to overcome the adversity and racial injustice that plagues our country, we have to accept that Donald Trump is our next president, even if we don’t agree with his stance.

The next four years will definitely be much different from when Obama was in office. However, we must not forget the power that is within us — a power that is much greater when we unite for the good. We have to continue to live life to the fullest, build up our communities and move America forward. We owe it to ourselves and our future kids to make this world a better place however we can.

Like you, music is also powerful. It connects us and helps us get through the ups and downs of life. Here’s 14 inspirational tunes to help us get through the era of Trump:
